WELCOME
to OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center
Our mission is a commitment to equity and quality of life for all LGBTQ+ people through community building, health and human services, and economic, social, and racial justice advocacy.
LGBTQ SENIOR ADVOCATE

OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center has different advocate positions to assist the community in a variety of ways.
The current LGBTQ+ AODA Advocate is Kristi Mason (pictured left). The role of LGBT Senior Advocate connects with LGBT seniors and assist them in finding services, and work with senior serving agencies in Dane County to ensure that they are welcoming and culturally competent to provide services to LGBT seniors.
The Senior Advocate is in charge of the Am I Welcome Here project as well as serving as OutReach liaison on the LGBTQ 50+ Alliance committee.
If businesses provide senior care or services, they can request a training or webinar on how to care for LGBTQ seniors or to get information on the unique economic and health disparities that LGBTQ seniors face.
For more on the Advocate position, please contact Kristi at kristim@lgbtoutreach.org or call M-F 608.255.8582.
